Welcome to The Sanctuary Wellness Center

The Sanctuary Wellness Center was developed to meet the unmet needs of the youth and adult residents experiencing  discrimination and social  isolation.

GLBT people of color in Allegheny County are in dire need of counseling assistance and referral services.

The mission and philanthropies of the Sanctuary Wellness Center includes the following but is not limited to:

  • Mobilize, empower and create a community for GLBT people of color in Allegheny County and the surrounding regions.
  • Advocate, support and strengthen the lives and relationships of GLBT individuals, subsequently improving their quality of life, love, and respect for life.
  • To be a safe place and nuturing environment by providing social, spiritual, civic and health care support networks.
  • Embrace, respect, and affirm all sexual minorities without bias, profiling and discrimination.
